As the party talks with Lowan, Agetor and Ibu will make perception checks DC20 to see if they can tell they're being watched. If they move in the middle of the night, the Darkling will follow them That night, unless found, the Darkling Elder will report to Dendybar the whereabouts of Lowan. The next day, White Rose soldiers will show up at Drosda's house looking for the party, Prince Virion has requested an audience with them at the White Rose Castle. If they comply, they will be taken to the castle. The prince will be very heavily guarded, his Orcish captain of the guard Brutus will be at his side. The prince will talk about how the festival must go smoothly. He heard there is a group of adventurers in town and has a task for them. Two days prior, his father, the king came back from a hunt dangerously ill. While this is to be kept very hush-hush, those who returned reported stumbling across a terrifying plant-like monster with skulls lining the outside of its body. It walked on its roots and attacked the soldiers, killing five of them (it has 8 corpses inside). Only two men plus the king returned, both of which were horribly injured. Dendybar's best guess is that the creature was a Corpse Flower, and the only way to save the king is by killing it. Dendybar does not have greater restoration, but that would also work. He will offer to pay them 1800gp for saving him.

If they take Lowan with them, he will be taken into custody the moment they get to the castle. Otherwise, guards will come to the house and take Lowan into custody while they are away.

By this time, Elika will have fully left her home, her door will be locked, and she'll be off in the woods.
