In the time after the mana perforation, many new and terrifiying creatures came to exist in the world. the world became chaotic, people feared for their lives daily. 30 years after the Age of Magick began, Esther Moore discovered a silent tune which could be played to ward off creatures.

Utility

the engine is played continually to create a field of repulsion on the senses of creatures, most domesticated animals are also effected, which is why the stables are often found either outside of towns or at the city center, furthest from the engines lining the walls.

the machine is a fairly complex system which converts Infurnite into raw energy which is then put through a series of tuning forks which let out a silent frequency to the humanoid races of the world.

Discovery

while researching a way to ward off the creatures of the new world, Esther found a series of mechanical tuning which caused these creatures immense discomfort in close proximity.
