The Gullet

Sitting at the bottom of The Hellmouth , the Gullet is home to a religious cult of kobolds known as the Cult Drakvulcani-minorae, or the Drakvulcani for short. A ruined mining settlement, abandoned due to the volcano becoming active.

Demographics

Consists of only kobolds, and what meagre livestock they can manage to cultivate.

Government

Operates like a village under a religious leader. The Firebrand of the cult directs most activities and sets priorities.

Infrastructure

Repurposed ruins means houses are leaky and drafty. Water sources are iffy at best, as the groundwater is exposed to a high amount of toxic sediments. One thing they have plenty of is metal-melting temperature lava flows on demand, useful for crafting rudimentary tools and weapons, scrapped from designs meant for larger creatures.
