It is told, That there is four main elemental planes; the plane of fire, plane of water, plane of air, plane of earth and they cross over & interact with each other, though not all of them cross over to the other but there is one plane where all the elemental planes meet and that place is called the material plane. It is said that when the gods first came to our world each wished to remake it into their visage, they changed the original creatures there to fit their own vision. These were called titans, they are beings of immense power as they are creatures of not only the gods but of the elements themselves. The gods seen their mistake of creating creatures such as these and united together to banished them away to a place called limbo, this was a great war to banish these creatures and to rid this material plane of the wild elementals but after eons it had been done. After the seas were calm, the winds died down, the fires burned out, and the earth stop shaking the world began to take the shape that is known today. The gods began to claim lands for themselves to see their visions once again made real but their was not enough room for all the gods and soon they would fight & cause this material plane to break. This war of gods split this plane into three separate holes; the shadow feld, the feywild, and the broken material plane this great war of gods was devastating and shook the planes so great that it broke the titans from their hold in limbo. Whereas the gods had been fighting and became weak the titans had time to reflect, rest, and plan. They in their immense power forced the gods from the realm and set themselves to be the guardians of this plane to keep the battles of the gods from shattering their home. This is story of the the world we know today was formed, how much is true or fantasy is unknown but one absolute that there are forces far greater than the common man at work. Recorded history dates back only ten millennium or so but it is told that there was once great civilizations long ago that came under great calamity that wiped them from existence. It is hard to believe that their was once civilizations so old and yet so much more greater than our own being wiped out but yet how did all those ancient ruins get there, how is it that there are said to be items of such power that they alone could change the world, they had to come from somewhere...
