SOL, the remnant

Sol it´s flame that stays, it´s light that continues as the chaster leaves, that perseveres until the flame fades. Sol it´s long lasting essence, it´s the most utilitary of the chants, and the very base of most everyday magic. Sol is the star that keeps the light over Asmate.

Effect

Sol fixes the flame (UT) so it remains after being separated of the source. To do so, Sol use the frozen flame energy to mantain it, wich eventually leads to the vanishing of the flame. The fixed flame can be used as a source of light, as a projectile, or as energy source of automaths, and as long as it receives charges or is in contact with a source of Blue flame, it can stay powered forever.

Side/Secondary Effects

Sol it´s the less nobxious out of every magic kind, with no side effects. However, it is also the most weak form of chant, with little purpose by it´s own, without further chanting and combination.

Manifestation

Sol manifestates as a little flash over the frozen flame, and an arp like crescent acord. Aside from that, Sol real use it´s just to mantain an existing flame, so, no rather effects.

Source

As with every magic in Asmate, it comes from the Song, and the Blue flame.

Discovery

Sol was the second chant ever discovered, not long before the discovery of Ut. The exact moment is lost in time, and it appears on it´s most basic form, as source of light. It´s use as projectile appears for the first time mentioned on the records of the war of the onions.
