Overview

The Ilios Isles is a small archipelago in Western Askara that is home to the warrior nation of Ilios. The people of Ilios are a battle-hardened bunch that believes actions truly speak louder than words. The small nation has largely kept to itself, hold an attempted invasion of Bratonia to the South, which was staved off just prior to the Spellplague.
Ilios was only slightly impacted by the Spellplague, as very few of their citizens are adept in the arcane arts, and the nation as a whole does not implement magic into its infrastructure.
The Iliosians trade with their geographical neighbors out of necessity, as they have limited access to many natural resources on their group of islands. Other than trade, however, the nation does not entertain much interaction with the outside world, and very few outsiders are welcome in Ilios cities. Some Ilios citizens grow tired of their small island nation and the battles of sport held regularly in the nation and venture out in search of greater battle and adventure.
