House Sunstride
House Sunstride owns the largest naval fleet in Alvari. The most prominent merchants and sailors come from House Sunstride, and the crown entrusts the bulk of its international trade to Sunstride ships. The majority of Alvari's artisan's hail from here as well, and as a result, many of the nation's guilds are operated by Sunstride members. This has, consequently, created monopolies in certain industrial sectors where products are in Sunstride hands from raw material to final sale in the market. This allows house merchants to sell items well below market average, much to the chagrin of independent merchants.
