Overview

The island kingdom of Bratonia sits on the far Western edge of Askara. The nation has remained fairly independent throughout its history, in part thanks to its geography, and also thanks to a lack of infighting. The island of Bratonia has faced several threats in its history, most recently being the Spellplague and before that an attempted invasion by the warrior nation of Ilios.
Bratonia as a nation is not exceptional in any particular way. Their military and warriors are average, their magical prowess and practice are standard for the realm, and their majority population is human. Still, Bratonia has cemented itself as a lasting nation with a deep history that goes well beyond its founding. The continent holds many secrets still yet uncovered, and many adventurers flock here as a result.
