Vagrant society. Due to your genetic association with Oni your ancestors have been forced to go from place to place in search of someone to accept them, in the meantime, they had to adapt to the wild. You gain proficiency in the survival skill.
Oni strength. Your ancestry with the Oni gives you great strength to wield heavy weapons. You gain proficiency with great weapons.
Habitual mask wearers. You gain resistance to taking damage from suffocation.

Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and one extra language of your choice.

Social Structure

Family. Nothing is more important to a grown Onikin than their family. Having to constantly move from place to place, their family is the only thing that can stay consistent in their lives. Typically, the father is the head of the household, followed by the mother and then the oldest living child. Sometimes, two unrelated Onikin families will meet each other on their travels and will quickly come to call each other family, and for all intents and purposes, the children of both families are considered siblings.

Facial characteristics

Bone-like growths on their cheeks that give them the appearance of a perpetual, fanged smile. The specific formation of these growths can vary from person to person.

History

Much like how Tieflings are descendants of demons, the Onikin are descendants of Oni. However, the Oni blood in an Onikin is incredibly thin compared to an average Tiefling with their demon blood.
