This archive is written and kept organised by a dedicated section of the The Adamant Archive. Any inconsistencies or mistakes should be immediately brought to an archivist's attention so they can be rectified as soon as possible.   Most parts of this archive will be factual articles derived from prior research done by contributors to the Adamant Archive's great collection of scientific works, though other parts may include speculations and rumours, such as those delivered to the populus by the likes of Illian Ling and his Mondial Daily gazette. The Archive does not condone the spreading of baseless rumours, and thus it will always be noted when the gazette, or any other non-reliable source is used in our articles.

  • The Creation of Asharith

In Asharith, those known as mortals are widespread throughout the lands. They come in all kinds of different shapes, sizes, colours and moralities but one thing among them all is consistent. Eventually, they all die.   Once, however, there was nothing in this world. Until the day The Adamantine arrived. These Gods worked together with The Primordials to shape the earth and seas.   Centuries later, though, the primordials declared war against the Adamantine, after an argument between Omi, the Water Dancer and Gor'Hazj, The Ruin got out of hand and after years of terrible conflict, the Adamant came out victorious, locking away the Primordials in their own elemental planes and taking full control over the world they were creating.   Then, they decided Asharith needed a higher purpose than just being a canvas for them to paint on, and they began creating mortal life in their own images. At first, the mortals and the Gods got along well, but when a group of powerful mortals, calling themselves 'the Seven,' declared their intent to separate the Gods' influence from their creations, to allow true freedom for mortal kind, and attacked Korwyn, The Storm Ruler with incredibly powerful magic, a new terrible conflict was born.   The War of Great Ruin, also known simply as "The Great Ruin," was a conflict between the Deific Infra, fighting alongside their devils, undead, monsters and minions and the Deific Supra, who stood in defense of the mortals, who they still saw as their children.   This war took a great toll on the Gods, and an even greater one on mortal kind. It was on the first day of the year 0, that the Deific Supra released what is now known as "The Shattering". An attack on their remaining siblings so devastating that it altered landmasses, and some say even reality itself. Though the details of the attack are lost, the aftermath still affects the world today. The Supra had to retreat, to specific holy locations all over Asharith. These places are known as Hibers, and it is said that the essences of the Supra are there, hibernating until they are powerful enough to return. On the other hand, the Infra were each locked in prisons of their own, deep beneath their own holy locations, known as Aests.

We now live almost seven centuries later, "Post Shattering," and mortal kind has settled the world once again.
