Hallucikinesis
Imagination and visualization are key components in hallucikinesis, and must be exercised heavily. Illusion magic is often considered to be one of the most mentally taxing forms of magic, as it deals with bringing an image from one’s mind into reality for others to see; it’s difficult enough projecting an image into one person’s mind, let alone the minds of a whole crowd, in some cases, but illusionists make do. There are two main types of hallucikinesis; internal hallucikinesis refers to the projection of illusions into the minds of others. This type of illusion magic is best for small scale illusions, but run certain risks if one isn’t careful enough with their ventures into other psyches. External hallucikinesis refers to the projection of illusions into reality, often in the form of holograms, which works best for large scale illusions. However, most of the time, external hallucikinesis can be found out relatively easily by simple observation. A simple physical disruption might be enough to cause an entire illusion to shatter, if it’s weak enough, but ones made by more experienced mages seldom crumble so easily.
Hallucikinesis can also be used to artificially/magically blind an unsuspecting victim, or permanently disfigure the psyche of someone caught unawares, causing them to have horrific visions for the rest of their life, making their existence a living nightmare.
