Nathan Wallace

Commander Nathan Wallace is an officer in the Terran Ascendency, with the current assignment as personal assistant to Vice Admiral Alexis Walsh aboard Vanguard One.
Nathan was born near the ruins of Liverpool, England. Born into a military family, his future was almost predetermined as one of service to the Ascendency. His upbringing was one of strict discipline and as such, Nathan has a rather severe personality. He entered the Military Academy in Malmö at the age of eighteen and graduated from the officer academy by the age of twenty-two.
He has served several tours of duty, renewing his commission at every given opportunity and has served with distinction throughout his career. His service record is impeccable and has been promoted to Commander shortly after his twenty-sixth birthday. Unfortunately, his career has stalled a bit as he did not possess for various reasons, mostly due to his personality. In command actions, he adheres to the letter of the regulations and has shown to lack the ability to think outside of those limitations.
When the Vanguard Project was initiated he immediately requested assignment to one of the fleets and was given a commission to join the first fleet. Although he had hoped for a ship within the fleet, he was instead given the position to assist the Vice Admiral in administrative duties. It was a year later that Alexis Walsh was named as the fleet commander and he came to know who he would serve under.
Despite the difference in personality, Nathan continues to serve the Ascendency and Admiral Walsh in the capacity that has been requested of him. His hope is that during this mission, he would be promoted to the rank of Captain and a ship placed under his command. Although he has never been fully in command of his own vessel, when placed in command he has shown an incredible, if uninspired, aptitude for the needs of the position.
