Moonswords (Moon-sword-s)

The Moonswords are a secretive group in Arvandor. They are the watchers of the night. A moonsword devotes their life to bring about Helio’s justice while he sleeps. They pray that Selene watch over them and provide them with the skills to adapt.
While the Moonswords are renowned as a formidable guild, their skills and reputation precede them. While a sword claiming to be a member of the guild could be weak and unskilled, another member certainly will make up the gap somewhere else.
Due to this, the more cunning members have used the reputation of the guild as a way to intimidate foes without resorting to violence.
Most law-abiding citizens will aid a sword in need.

Structure

Grand Advisor

The leader of the Moonswords, typically, the Grand Advisor is someone of great status gained through their deeds to the organization and well connected to the outside world.
Luminarch The Luminarch is a Moonsword who knows of great sacrifice and is chosen by a Seer.

Seer

A Moonsword Seer is an important role, Seer's commune and dictate Selene's will for the Moonswords.

Culture

The Moonswords believe in two things above all: Secrecy and Sacrifice. Moonswords are a vast network of individuals that volunteer to do the right thing for the people, they have no political plans or affiliations. Because of this, they often sacrifice their own needs and desires to do what is right for their locality, often recruited by an existing Moonsword in the region, they swear to keep the identities, hideouts, and plans of the Moonswords to absolute secrecy.
Most Moonswords are not even aware of other Moonswords in their own town or region other than their mentor.

Public Agenda

Moonswords beleive in the freedom and peace for all species and creatures that live in the realm of Arvandor. The overarching goal of the Moonswords is to quietly observe and protect the innocent from corruption or evil, wherever it may lie.
