Jakob is the patriarch of the Silverblood family. He is responsible for the Silverbloods' massive expanse of territory. He initially started his conquest by seducing a human leader of small settlement in the Shadowfell, before assuming power and then expanding outwards. It is estimated that he has conquered around 20% of Shadowfell. He was also responsible for the family's involvement in the Great War. It is unknown when or how Jakob became a vampire. Rumours suggest that he was turned by an ex-lover, though this is merely speculation. He turned his wife, Sylvia, around 50 years before the start of the war and together they have had 3 children; Dmitri, Morwenna and Viktor.
