Common Dress

Baskills dress in as little clothing while staying decent. Their clothes are usually furs and hides that the person wearing them hunted. Their armor is usually hide and are adorned with bone spikes. Baskill mages wear bark and bone masks with feathers and their enemy's hair to frighten foes and show their rank. Leaders intentionally do not wear anything that would make them a target.

Taboos

Divorce: Marriages are for life and a widow may not remarry. Hunting: The entire animal must be used in some way, or the hunter must fast for 24 hours.

Etiquette

While in battle, the warrior name is the only one that is allowed to be used to talk to someone. The highest ranking couple must take the first bite of food and the first sip of alcoholic beverage at dinner.

Historical Figures

Glömbitz "Axehead" the Fierce: The minotaur chieftain that killed the greater Daemon Grawq. He sacrificed his life and soul to save his people and the planet. A statue of Glömbitz was erected by all the G'huutian clans at the end of the Thrid Daemon War.
Aurz "Rage" the Kind: A tiefling warrior that was known for his diplomatic ability. Aurz was able to convince multiple tribes to join forces against the evil Eclipse Herald tribe. His son, Qarzz "Fear", is the current cheiftain.

Religion

The Baskills are worshipers of totemic spirits and four greater elementals. The elementals are: Aoi, the Gale Winds, Til, the Bonfire Elemental, Grü, the Rock Beast, and Willu, the Everstream. The Baskills have a religious holiday on the summer and winter solstice called Dance of Creation, where they dance, feast, and celebrate existence.

Myths

The myths of the Baskills usually revolve around the totemic spirits they worship. One myth is that the masks their mages wear each have their own totemic spirit that puts some of its essance into the spells that the wearer casts.

Exports

The Baskills are expert carvers of any material. Their most expensive export is their mage masks, which are said to each have their own totemic spirit inside of it that helps the magic of the wearer. Their most popular export is their bleached bone dice, because it is very difficult to bleach bone.
