Daffield Peaks (Dah-field)
The tallest mountains of Arton, the Daffield Peaks are the watchful eyes of the surface, the towering shadows of might and supremacy. The tallest of the mountains, Mount Felron is the home of Herward Shinum, Lord of Avarice in Daffield Palace. The steep landscape is frequented by merciless blizzards and temperatures are extremely low. That is except at the very peak of Felron inside the protective ward of the palace. Herward mobilises his troops using secret passes that only he knows of and can open. This avoids the deadly wildlife in addition to the snow storms such as the wolf like Frigidals or the draconic Escalaches.
