The world of Arthe is one of magical flora and fauna, fantastical landscapes, dragon moons, a multitude of "human" races, and an actual world tree.   Arthe consist of a gigantic tree at its core, with water going through its many thick inner roots, holding up the continental masses on its branches. Sometimes 'seedlings' break away and float off into the Sky Sea, where if it doesn't collide into one of the twelve dragon moons, it will fly off into outer space to hopefully form into a new Gaea.   Its human inhabitants, relics of a forgotten world saved by their nearly equally forgotten deities from a world on the brink of ruin, have diverged under the influence of the old God-Empress of the First Age, forming new kinds of 'human'. The God-Empress, her purpose fulfilled, guided events to transpire so that her time would come to an end and others would rise up and take on the roles Arthe provided for them.   As the Second Age began, humanity had broken free from the God-Empress' guiding hand (though not as free as they might have hoped), and the different human races came into closer contact with one another. This resulted in even more new kinds of races that made their own mark on the world. With the invention of ways to travel the Sky Sea, the world became a very large place, open for those with the means to travel and explore. On Arthe itself, the diaspora of 'original humans' resulted from the death of the God-Empress had many ramifications, and its resulting political and cultural upheaval caused the world's societies to become unsteady, with its inhabitants trying to find their place in the world.   My intent is to slowly put in all the things I have worked on in the past on this site. This will likely take a while, as I will probably put it down for long periods as I spend time on other things that take my interest at any particular time. All that said, I do like the idea of having my world on a site dedicated for such things.
