Windwallow

At the western edge of the northern realms sits Windwallow, a village off the beaten path and sparsely visited, the people of Windwallow are led by elders, maintaining traditions of old. Firbolg druids are held to great esteem here, monoliths devoted to the gods are worshipped by the community, and the creatures of the wild marauder bluffs are tamed by the beastmasters who call Windwallow home. Its location would make it vulnerable, but the people of Windwallow share a tenuous peace with the savages of the mountains, and even trade with them.   Windwallow encompasses a scattering of dwellings in the region, with the concentration of structures lying in the clearing within the forest. The dwellings follow along the village path towards a tall waterfall from the bluffs, surrounding the pool under the falls is the hub of Firbolg society. The Firbolgs do not build structures like other races, the majority of their dwellings consist of mudhuts, thatch leanto's and leatherbound gazebos.

Demographics

Kennel Clearing   At the clearing resides the human beastmasters of legend. Wood built long houses are constructed to form a hexagonal cul de sac. It is commonplace to see almost as many beasts as you see humans at the clearing. Rivenwald's famous griffin riders learn to harness their connection with these majestic beasts in Windwallow itself.   Kennel clearing is also a place of worship, with monumental totems built to the old gods, 4 of these pillars stand at the center of Kennel Clearing.   Timber dwellings   Along the path from Kennel Clearing to Greenleaf falls lies the domiciles of these rural peoples, any shops or houses of rest and respite are found along the path. Timber Dwellings extends into the forest itself, mostly of residential homesteads.   Greenleaf Falls   The eastern end of the Windwallow path lies a community of Firbolg druids, a rarity among Tel'Evandros, as Firbolgs are generally solitary people who tend to group only with family. Their mudhuts and gazeboes hug the pools of the tall waterfall that descends from the bluffs. The Druids circle of the land gathers at Greenleaf falls for their rites and ceremonies.
