Wayfast

Being so close to the warfront, Wayfast has become dilapidated as a symptom of war between the Royals. Their is a heavy presence of crown soldiers, field hospitals and grim moods. Wayfast is a small town just north of the Ivy woods. During more peaceful times, traffic going north and coming south passed through Wayfast and thusly the town experienced heavy traffic and trade. Its Layout is tightly cramped with buildings practically wall to wall. The main road cuts through the center of the town with shops and accommodations to attract travellers passing through. At the center of the trade district is the Willow court, a courtyard that surrounds an old willow tree, the Wayfast hall of office is found on Willow court. To either side of the market strip are the residential districts, Homesteads west and east. The northern edge of Wayfast holds 'The Embers' and 'The Field Hospital'. The battlefields of the Royal war lies just miles north of Wayfast, after prince Hammonds forces cast the first stone against the north, the Northmen pushed into Wayfast only months ago and the fighting resulted in a large fire significantly damaging Wayfast. The populace of Wayfast is swelled to almost bursting with the field hospital housing injured soldiers and the presence of crowns reserve.

Demographics

Homesteads West and Homesteads East   The residential districts of Wayfast, many homes are providing room and board for soldiers. The homestead districts are compact with narrows streets and even narrower alleys.   Market Strip   The market strip extends from the embers through the town to the southern entrance, lined with amenities and accommodations. The royal war has brought traffic and therefore trade from the north to a startling halt, but the presence of soldiers has alleviated that, filling up vacancies in inns and taverns, and spending well earned gold along the market strip.   The Willow court   Beneath the large willow tree lies the courtyard of willow court, a popular region in Wayfast to the citizens who come and spend their time here. Among the willow court lies the Baron's hall of office.   The Embers   This area of Wayfast is named The Embers due to the recent fires caused by the assault from the northmen only months ago. It now lies in a charred ruin.   Field Hospital   The northern end of Wayfast is the field hospital, a large region of medical tents purposed to tend to the injured soldiers flooding in from the northern battlefield.
