Valdenfjoll

Valdenfjoll boasts a grand hall dedicated to the gods, one of the oldest towns of the human kingdoms, its robust lodges used to house moots between the Jarls of the first era of the Durendal kingdom. Today, these grand moot houses are used as a place of remembrance of former Thanes.

Demographics

The Northmoot
The old gathering place of ancient Thane's from times long past. The leaders of Varendal use to come to Valdenfjoll to exercise their right to present their values and opinions in the leading of their nation. Today, The Northmoot of Varendal is a place to come and pay respects to the Thanes of old, and it remains sacred location of the naming of High Thane's.
Temple District
The halls of the Old Gods and the divine Seven are worshipped in the grand temples, clerics of various gods keep the grounds of their patrons, and practice their imbued divine powers. The sick and injured come to Valdenfjoll for physical and mental healing when no other means prove successful, and in many cases, the trek north proves to be worth it. These worshippers of the old gods are named Yeomen, and they are the caretakers of the noble dead and the temples of the four primordials.
