The Horizon Corsairs

The nautical research outfit, nicknamed the Horizon Corsairs, who journey into the Cypress keys with the purposes of research, exploration, resource gathering and potential colonization, the latter being greatly difficult due to piracy and the aboriginal inhabitants of the keys.
Although colonization has been a challenge, the corsairs have managed to assemble a research base on the shores of one of the many northern isles in the keys. Life as a corsair is spent primarily out on the seas, sailing mostly with the vicinity of the continent. Expeditions out into the Kabal Sea or The Sirenius Ocean have yet to be arranged, such a journey would require great resources, better ships, and larger fleets, and there current objectives have proven to be taxing enough on the outfit.
