Steerpike

The sister town to Stillacre. A township upholding a higher pedigree of society with noble houses and fine living. What seperates Steerpike from Stillacre is the flow of trade from Oath bastion and political influence with the Dragonborn and the Elves. Steerpike also houses the Arcane Academy, a subsection of Mystarus.

Demographics

Hightowers
The wealthy elite call hightowers home. The Hightowers is built upon the central bluffs of Steerpike, and the buildings are elevated to appear to scrape the sky from the lower districts. From The High Towers you can see the whole city and landscape for miles. The walled manor of the Grand Duke sits at the high bluffs edge overlooking the city.
Embassy ward
Steerpike is a haven for nations outside the empire, The embassy ward houses the official diplomatic chambers for representatives of other lands such as the Alder Glades and the Dragonsveil. From within the empire, The Embassy ward claims the Arcane Academy, a subsection of the Mystarus Magi, being the only other place of arcane learning in the southern province of the empire.
The Boroughs
The boroughs is the residential district of Steerpike. Homes are closely clustered with narrow streets along the base of the Steerpike bluffs extending out to the river.
New Market
Since the migration of cultures into Steerpike from abroad, the old market had expanded greatly, with wares of dragonborn and elven make, the market district was overhauled for the expansion of the city, now it is hailed as New Market.
