Ivywood Shire

A peaceful little hamlet, nestled downriver from the capital, running along the edge of the Ivywood. Characterized by vast orchards and wine drinkers. Due to its location along the kings road, Ivywood shire sees alot of traffic to and from Durengaard to the places of the north.
Ivywood shire has a very small centre on the western side of the river that acts as a crossroad rest stop for travellers. Typically, roaming traders set up stalls and tent shops selling their wares. A ragtag market of tent stalls is almost always erected in the centre of Ivywood shire. The bridge across the river holds a small royal guardpost which acts as the law for the hamlet. There is no direct government official in Ivywood Shire, instead its leadership falls under the appointed jurisdiction of the capital aristocracy, who answer directly to the crown. On the eastern side of the river lies a scattering of homesteads and extends out to the Wineries of the Ivywood shire.
The economy of Ivywood Shire is ample, but the settlement size doesn’t reflect that, much of the gold that flows through Ivywood Shire falls under the limits of Durengaard. What little industry exist consists mainly of the Vinyards around the hamlet, the trade tarriffs in the market, and minor amount from hunting and fisheries in the area.
