Arlian Meta

SCOPE
'Arlian' = 'Earth'
What's Your Motivation?
I had a concept, and wanted a world to go with it. I plan on making several stories that span several hundred years. I will be focusing on the first one at this camp, limiting what I build.
What's Your Hook?
Five people are summoned to Arlian by the king of (unnamed nation) with the plans to eventually concur the entire continent. One of the summoned leaves and ends up helping the other races against the humans.
While there are lots of Summoned stories in Manga, I can't think of any as a novel, so I wanted to make one. I want the world to function as a real world, and not a "it's like a game, it just works" which means I have a lot to figure out and explain away, if not for the story then for me.

THEME
What is the Genre?
I usually go with a Medieval Fantasy, but I would like to make it more than simply European Medieval. Definitely a Sword and Spell type world, with an RPG angle of roles in a party.
What is the Scale?
The Scale will be on a continent that is comparable to North America. I will be focusing on the Human Kingdoms and the Magic Forest that serves as their Western boarder for this Camp.
Are there Multiple Races?
I will be having several races in my world. I hope other books will have MCs from some of those races. I want to make changes from some of the races, giving my own twist to them. Two of the most focused ones will be the Humans and the Elf race, called Celions.
What's the Mood?
I want to have the wonder of viewing and experiencing a new world filled with magic, but have an underlying shadow caused by the Summoned Humans and the wars that follow them.
What is your Theme?
MC often states that she doesn't want power, because it brings responsibility. She must step up and take that to try and save everyone she's come to care about. Tying in is the theme of finding what you stand for and holding that line.

RULES
How is Arlian Different from Earth?
Arlian is in the dark/medieval period for the human kingdoms. I haven't decided on the level of the other races yet, but it won't be too much further or before them. One of the Summoned Humans was working on a Chemist Major and brings an industrial revolution (but will be after period working on).
Magic is used in Arlian, with the six bases (Fire, Earth, Water, Air, Light and Dark) and the fourteen hybrids of them. Multiple races besides humans live on and under the land, and aquatic races dwell within the oceans and seas.
What makes the Races Different from Each Other?
Besides how they look, I plan on having different races having magic bases that mesh well with their 'homeland' or lifestyle. A mining race would have Earth affiliation, while a aquatic race would have Water affiliation. Humans are an exception, in that they can have any affiliation, but most only have one or two (plus the Hybrid of those two).
How did Arlian Come to be in World?
Depends on the race you ask, and currently unimportant to the story.
What does the Geography look like?
I'm using the continental USA as my bases, with a 'border' for the map of the world to stop at the cold forests of the North and the tangled jungles of the South.
What Causes the Conflict?
Humans breed so fast that they are running out of space to live. While the (Unnamed Nation)'s conquest of the Human Kingdoms cut the population down, they are quick to latch their eyes on the wild, 'uncivilized' lands to their west.
