 The world is changed. The fires of industry now consume the ways of old, and men are sent to war as cattle before the slaughter. It was not always like this, however... In days long-since passed, there was a respect— A reverence— for the natural world. Back when Empires rose and fell with the passing of the ages. But of course, it couldn't last forever.    Far across the Great Velai Sea, a storm is brewing. The Ekroi and Rumai, great rivals since the sixteenth century, remain at each other's throats, a veritable powder-keg just waiting to set the world ablaze. Nodriket continues to pursue it's colonial ambitions in the Velai, sparking conflict with her neighbors as she does so. And in the east, the Great Murai Dragon now stirs, awoken by the violence of their Civil War. It is as though anything will send them off at each other. And meanwhile, the other nations of the world wait like circling vultures, preparing to feast on the lands of those that fall.
