Blighted Isle

As a glittering spat of islands in the distance comes further into view you notice that the warmth from the sun disappears as an uncharacteristic cold begins to crawl through your body. As (you) draw(s) closer it becomes evident that those islands are actually a towering array of icebergs and the uncanny chill you once felt is now replaced with a piecing cold as hostile winds whistle between the gaps of these monolithic towers of ice. Once the island proper comes into view it almost comes off as a much larger iceberg. Though upon further inspection what you come to discover is not yet another block of ice, but what once appeared to be a tropical island with mountains, sandy beaches, and sprawling forests, flash frozen in time, with birds that appear to have frozen mid flight littering the icy beachhead. Hugging a coastal cliff in the distance you can see what is only to be assumed the redoubt of (Forta Alara), whos towering walls are similarly encased in ice.
