Argon Catacombs

This ancient network of tunnels located under Argon city proper. Once the burying place of the ancient Dragonborn kingdoms, but as they disappeared the humans took over, expanding the already catacomb network. Now nobody really knows about the Dragonborn graves anymore, as the catacombs become increasingly dangerous.

Architecture

The old catacombs are ancient, this part exists of tunnels dug into the stone. The walls here are decorated with pillars, runes, and stories of their tales. The newer parts are tunnels made of stone bricks, with less decoration and more functionality.

History

The catacombs are a remain of the ancient dragon cities. Argon was built upon the Catacombs when the first humans settled there. Over time the catacombs grew as more and more tribes came to the city and settled, burying their dead there.
