Beres' Revolt was the first revolt against the king. The cousin of Halfmin II, Beres the Young grew his following in Sutwick and the southern parts of the Carwold before declaring himself the king of an independent realm. Halfmin led a force to overthrow Beres, and after four years of fighting, the usurper surrendered near the town of Sutwick.
