Bellan Ironheart was the third Axish queen. In 1321, her illegitimate half-brother Hanburn the Spider revolted and attempted to seize the throne. She personally led the army that routed his forces at the Battle of Glenrill (1326), slaying him herself. Towards the end of her reign, Adholian pirates began to harry the coasts.
