Historical Details
Background
Erin Nyx had a difficult time with her new position. Her task was arduous and she fell back to her old like of work... office management.
Her first task was to create a handbook, something to allow those under her employ quick access to the newest information and guides that a more experienced person might not know.
It will also give a clear indication about the dos and don't of interdimensional contact.
History
The Explorer's Handbook was created specifically to address the lack of training and experience she was facing as waves of volunteers flooded the Explorer's Guild Hall.
Erin noted the sheer variety of skillsets the recruits were brought to the table, and she needed a way to establish a baseline.
Public Reaction
Not many people are from worlds where their jobs came with manuals... people were unsure if this was a waste of resources or a good idea. Some even used the pages for... other things.
Legacy
The Explorer's Guide is going to be a staple book for every Explorer. They must know the information well, or run the risk of looking Explorer Points.
Term
The handbook is still in use today. Some use it as a doorstop, others know it like the back of their hand... or head.
