The Tōsha, Herford's Chapel

You step into the large chapel and immediately feel like you stepped into a different dimension. Trees, vines, flowers, and other plants grow everywhere inside this building. Yet there are townsfolk sitting at the pews, most of which are sitting in silent prayer. One man walks around, occasionally stopping to quietly speak with one of the townsfolk or otherwise tending to the flora.
He notices you and pads over towards the entrance. You see now he is a western man, with narrow eyes, a white pointed beard, and matching white hair tied into a ponytail. He smiles at you and speaks, "Hello traveller, I am Takayasu, the keeper of this temple. I offer the townsfolk guidance when they require it, and can offer you the same if you desire. I get my wisdom from the gods, every morning. I pray to them as I walk to the temple. This morning, even, I was praying to them, I asked them 'Gods? Can you give me a sign that I am doing the right thing?' Then, the sign hanging over the tavern fell and hit me on my head! Owie!" He mimics rubbing the top of his head and smiles broadly, his eyes gleaming with laughter.
Just then you hear a deep groan coming from one of the alcoves. The groan comes from a giant pile of black fur, which raises its head to reveal a bear with large, circular ears, and a tan patch of fur in the shape of a V beneath its neck. Taka shoots a hurt look at the bear, "don't groan at me, Hatchimitsu! It was a funny joke!" The man turns back to you and shakes his head, "he has no sense of humor, that one. Anyways, after getting bonked in the noggin, I went into the tavern and grabbed an ale. It's quite good, you should try it some time! Anyways, if you do need any guidance, or any more funny jokes, come find me, I'll be around." With that, Taka walks starts walking away towards another patch of flowers, humming what sounds like one of the more popular ballads.

Takayasu provides any and all healing for free.

Resurrecting the Dead

Takayasu can, and will, resurrect the dead, for no more than the cost of the material components. However, he will only perform the ritual if it can be proved that the person he is trying to resurrect would have wanted it this way.
