The Holy City

A city within The Divine Ütherreich, it is commonly known as The Holy City, though it is actually called Heilige Stadt. The city is home to the highest members of the Church of the Divine Light. They live, work, and pray within the Vermögen, a massive campus that is almost a city within a city. Large number of clergy (and non-clergy) live here, as well as perform their clerical duties. From within the Vermögen, Pillars are decreed by the Heilige Sehen. While they are not laws, Pillars are important guidelines created by the church's governing body, the Sehen, that decree how a devout Imperial should behave.
The city is situated along a ridge next to the biggest set of waterfalls in all of Ardunor. Standing at the base of these waterfalls, and towering over the city, is a colossal statue of the Dominion Vesta, a member of the Divine Light's celestial court. Within the Vermögen is the Cathedral of Vesta, a church of the Divine Light dedicated to the Dominion. It is the biggest religious building in the Ütherreich.
