Ascomanni Origin

Fierce warrior tribes that make their homes in the fjords of the frozen tundras to the south. Most cultures view the Ashmen as barbaric savages, especially because these people have been known to raid the coastal cities all over Ardunor. The Ashmen worship dragon gods, and telling the stories of these gods is an important tradition to these dragonborn peoples.

In addition to the traits you get as a dragonborn, you also get the following traits.

Ability Score Increase

Your Constitution score increases by 1.

Scales of Ash

Though you may not actually cover your scales in the ashes of your enemies, the stories of Ashmen have preceded you. You are proficient in Intimidation, and when intimidating somebody who knows the tales of the Ashmen, you can roll an Intuition die, a d4, and add the result to your Intimidation check.

Overpowering Strength

A life of raiding has made you more powerful than the average being. Whenever you are making a contested Strength contest in a battle (due to grappling or otherwise), you can roll an Intuition die, a d4, and add the result to your Strength contest.
