Geography

The Baruan Peninsula is a considerably large stretch of land that juts out of the northeastern corner of Balukthur. It was formed through the volcanic activity of the volcanoes in the Baruan Mountains, causing the basis of the land to be made from volcanic rock. While these volcanoes are now believed to be extinct, the land formed by them now features incredibly fertile volcanic soil.

Fauna & Flora

Both the flora and the fauna of the region are relatively standard for the climate. The only true discrepancies from the norm are the unique wine grapes and other fruits that are used in the said wines. As such, the region is well known for its wines and sweet fruits.

The natural resources of the region mostly involve the plant life that can be grown there. This has led to large amounts of agriculture in the region, especially vineyards for a variety of wines. The specialties of the region include Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Tannat, Sauvignon Blanc, and Munnelet Rouge. Other natural resources include volcanic rocks and minerals.
