Caelum Empire

The Caelum Empire was a geopolitical intercontinental empire centered on the Myrtilos sea, the Caelum Empire lasted from 10100-8700 (Elder Era). Surviving documents and ruins of Caelumi origin exist all across the continents, concentrated specifically on coastal areas on the Myrtilos, from those documents, ruins and oral history it has been pieced together the lost history and story of the Caelum Empire. Modern descendants of the island of Vostea and the Arka Fe peoples have the most oral history regarding the Caelum empire. From all these sources scholars presume that the Caelumi people were a tribal people up until 10600 EE in the Recunae penisula that organized a civilization based off of agriculture and mining. After a few centuries it allowed the Caelumi people to create more complex artistic, philosophical and societal structures, this development is supported by architectural ruins still left from this period, displaying their prowess in urbanization. Another century passes and it is clear they had expanded, their currency being found across islands and coastal regions, they had begun trading and creating colonies. Another century passes and these colonies grow into cities, and integrated parts, this is when the Caelumi civilization is described to become an Empire. It is known the following 4 centuries were dedicated to war and conquering of land, creating a vast territory under the empire, and as it became more integrated, more fortressed, cities and ports were developed, during this period many modern civilizations begin, notably the Laceans and Serunitic civilizations.
