Biadab Alliance
The Biadab Alliance or officially the Confederated Guilds of the Biadab Alliance is a confederation comprised of a variety of guilds of different trades and origins. It was originally founded in 419 during the collapse of the Asghrat Empire by Askerkes Gabrid, Nuyul Demmer, Mmuli Awal, Azrem Yisennan, and then later joined by Khulum Majyar, Yekela Ithada and Phakade Dlulako and more.
The Biadab was formed by Askerkes, Nuyul and Ammuli who had lost major investments during the Erdicho War where the Asghrat Empire lost and was forced to pay tribute to the Aetasian Empire. Askerkes was a raiding lord of the asghrat desert who had been governing the desert for a decade, adding to the loss of power of the central government of the Asghrat Empire and undermining the imperial influence through dealings with lords in order to work and do with the land that Askerkes ruled as they pleased, allowing for a free economy without limitations and with a lower tax than the royal tax. Askerkes during and after the war began to do more and more dealings and eventually began to cooperate with Asghratine nobility who opposed Emperor Azewan's rule.
Nuyul Demmer, another noble, whose son died in the war had also grown to hate Emperor Azewan and his handling of the end of the war. Nuyul was also a major slaver who managed hundreds of farming sectors throughout the empire, land that was being abandoned in order to concentrate in recovery of the capital Zatine.
Mmuli Awal was a member of the Imperial Council of Advisors who strongly opposed Azewan's campaigns during the war and then later vocally protested the final edict deciding to fully abandon the asghrat desert and formally dissolve the empire, allowing for warlords of the south to win. Though in the past Mmuli was opposed to cooperation with Askerkes, he now came to Askerkes proposing to join him and provide his internal knowledge of governance and rulership and to officiate an alliance with other lords who he was close to.
In 819, a formal meeting was hosted between 17 Asghratine lords including Mmuli and Nuyul, 4 Asghratine military officers, and 10 representatives of Askerkes horde including his own attendance. This meeting officiated the formation of the "Biadab Alliance" and began the motion to slowly write out a charter of conditions and terms to maintain order and balance between each member. In this meeting, Azrem Yisennan, a revered general of the Erdicho War proposed him and his men who deserted from the Empire to be the official militant branch of the Biadab, this was met with resistance by Askerkes but then eventually an agreement to not have a centralized military and to have various cells. This began the concept that'd later be included in the official charter splitting up the Asghrat desert between lords who will manage locally, allowing for a decentralized and invincible organization that has no weakness through there being too many heads and cells.
Nuyul and Mmuli would form the Annesid guild and by extension the Annesat land of the Biadab, with Azrem Yisennan as their enforcer, they would be the most confrontational with the new state formed by ex-Emperor Azewan. Askerkes would carry on his warlord activites but allied with the Annesid. Later three more groups would be admitted into the Biadab and soon a giant horde would emerge spanning the entire Asghrat desert and becoming a force of reckoning to the continent.
