Alharis

The Mutanate of Alharis is a theocratic nation on the western side Samasia penisula in the Naasmin desert and the Aldahab green coast. The Mutanate of Alharis was founded in 804 by Kamar Hazin, one of the first followers of the Althun religion. After the four Kidarbi kings converted to Althun, they submitted their will to the Althuni god; Hufra, and Kamar Hazin declared himself Mutan of the four Kidarbi kingdoms, Mutan meaning spiritual guide in Naasmic. Kamar renamed the region to Alharis meaning Guardian State, referring to how they would protect the teachings and texts sent by the moon god Hufra, and teach them elsewhere.

Though since the inception of the Mutanate of Alharis, many other nations in the region would have large populations convert to Althun, and many would being Althuni states by proxy as the temples held much power over the people, creating a sphere of influence centered around the holy state of Alharis. Though to many foreign nations, the Mutanate of Alharis would become a threat, a strict set of laws based around religion that allowed for full ownership of non-believers and a confrontational policy of spreading the religion made the Mutanate a controversial entity both within the nation by scholars that opposed the Mutan and Althun religion, and outside.
