Personal history

Himo Rolen was raised in the pre-dragonwar Brosin Plains , an area of cutthroat outlands with no law. When he reached adulthood (100 years old), he started working as a killer for hire and became known among the people of the area for his stealth and efficiency.
At the age of 165, Himo moved to the Elvish city of Ermoor: the City of Towers to find a better life. While sneaking up one of the many towers of Ermoor towards his target, he slipped and fell. He blacked out from hitting the ground, waking to a beautiful Elf maiden stabilizing his condition with magic. Once he was able to stand they got to know each other a little before parting ways, he learned her name was Théa Lia but lied to her about how he fell so far to avoid scaring her off.
To his surprise, Himo ran into Théa again while training at the assassin's guild, never suspecting her to have been a fellow assassin. After training and working together they fell in love and moved to the exotic island of Balur to celebrate their love.
They stayed together there for 10 years before Himo went on a trip to train in the Southern Woods for becoming an elite of his guild.
However shortly after his arrival The Great Dragon War began and Himo's training camp was caught in the center of a battle between two dragons. He was barely able to escape as the woods were ravaged by a magically induced tempest. After his brush with death he hastened to check on his family in Brosin Plains and escort them to safety, however he came too late; all that was left of his family's mansion was a smoldering ruin.
The Dragon War only increased in intensity, Himo was forced to hide in a cave system beneath the plains until the war was over and the magical wildfire had subsided. As soon as he was able to leave he returned to Balur to search for his loved one, arriving at a completely unrecognizable wasteland. He stared with dismay at what is now known as The Scorched lands , all hope of being reunited with Théa shattered. Blaming himself for her death he left the island in mourning, with a burning hatred for all dragonkind.
Himo joined many of the post-war refugees in the newly founded city of Taag Brosin , buying a house in the Taag Brosin Upper District where he mourned his loss and kept his head low; only taking assassination contracts to make ends meet. At year 6042, he accepted his grief and left Taag Brosin to explore the wild, visiting the site of his old family estate and the scorched lands to pay respects.

Upon reaching adulthood he became a killer for hire, feared for his stealth and efficiency.
Upon moving to Ermoor he joined The Assassin's Guild of Ermoor , which he stayed a part of until the destruction of the city during The Great Dragon War.
After the founding of Taag Brosin he took the occasional assassination job to pay his living expenses, but little more.
