In a common Goblin household the Matron rules the pack while the several Males, be they partners or children, serve her and interact with the outside world.
However Hobgoblin are able to enthrall Male Goblins into joining their warbands, where all thoughts of reproduction are forgotten.

Despite their primitive culture goblins dislike leaving their feces open to the air. So a goblin away from home will dig a small hole before taking a shit, even if they do not plan to return to the area. In goblin households this problem is addressed in a more civilized manner, Goblin Matrons spend much of their time making special Ugue pots: clay pots with an oil-like finish which, while beautiful, are destined to be shat in and sealed, then stored carefully to prevent breakage.
