Personal history

After graduating from University Darvin returned home to his family, armed with newfound knowledge and a telescope.
After a few weeks observing the stars he noticed that one of a pretty colour (purple, as it happened) did not stay in one place. Further research revealed this star to be Caiphon . After continued observation tracking it's moving Darvin started hearing whispers.
At first he thinks nothing of them, but it continues to get worse, accompanied by nightmares. Just as Darvin felt he was going insane the whispering abruptly stopped, and a clear voice rung forth; promising both knowledge and magical powers, both things he desired.
Darvin wholeheartedly accepted the pact with Caiphon , becoming a Warlock.
Now his search for a colleage that will teach him magic has led him to Ardmair; He has heard of a Scholar's Guild in Taag Brosin . He met with a group of adventurers going the same way, taking mercenary jobs with them to pay for his travels and test out his new powers.

Education

Studied astronomy at a university of high arts in Guthram from the age of 15, where he developed an interest in magic. However he was never able to perform any acts of magic and was designated as someone with no magical potential.

Employment

Sage and astronomer then formed a pact with Caiphon , becoming a Warlock.

Despite his great efforts to learn magic, failed to produce any results due to him naturally having low magical potential.
Slipped on a mossy rock, the fall leaving him with an unsightly scar.
