True "Demon" Form

The way a demon normally looks is called their True Form. Some demons have Disguised Forms that are different than their True Form. When creating a demon, you can define your True Form however you like. There are some special rules regarding your True Form:
  • Once created you cannot change your True Form. Except when you have a feat that explicitly states that you can change your True Form.
  • Your True Form always looks demonic. Everyone who knows what a demon is will recognize you as one if they see you in your True Form.
  • Your unarmed attacks are considered magical in addition to their normal

Disguised Form

Demons are feared by inhabitants of the mortal realm. A demon sighting in a village or city leads to an alarmed state that can not only harm your mission but also your stay in the mortal realm. You can’t talk to people and acquire information when people are running away from you. Therefore, most demons have pleasing Disguised Forms to not only overcome this but also to make it easier to deceive mortals. These are ruled out under each race specifically.

True Size

Your True Form must fit into the size category tiny, small, medium, large, or huge. The chosen size category becomes your True Size. Your True Size never changes, even if your current size gets shrunken or enlarged. See the following table for height and space limitations.

Bonus Hitpoints & Size Die

Your True Size also affects your Hit Points according to the table on the right. The die added at higher levels is your Size Die.

Weapon Size

Some weapons are specially made for large and huge creatures, which makes them more powerful but also more expensive. Every standard weapon can be large or huge.

Large weapon

A large Weapon deals additional 1d4 of its damage type and costs one and a half times the standard price. A tiny, small or medium creature wielding a large weapon has disadvantage on their attacks. Demons with True Size huge gain large weapons as Starting Equipment instead of normal sized weapons.

Huge weapon

A huge Weapon deals additional 2d4 damage of its damage type and costs twice as much as the standard price. A tiny, small or medium creature cannot wield a huge weapon. A large creature wielding a huge weapon has disadvantages on their attacks

Current Size Effects

The Current Size of a Demon gives them special benefits and deficits. These benefits and deficits only apply to Demons.
