Ardania fantisy world with tech and magic similar to the forgotton relms. It is the land in which the Caravan Chronicals campaign takes place. It is divided into two main halves, the Central Plains and the Northern Reaches, separated by a mountain range.   A purple tinted mist dubbed maisma seeps across the land and sea. It is deadly to the non 'Monster' Races of the world. It isolates cities, blocks trade, and contaminates water making it deadly to the touch. Miasma might have snuffed out the non-monster races lives if not for the crystals.   Crystals repel miasma, eliminating it from the air and water. Some indiviudals are fortunate to have personal crystals to protect themselves, some trading posts have moderate sized stones that cover a few buildings. Each city is centered around a large seemingly unbreakable, nearly immovable crystal which offers the citys inhabitants plenty of breathing room. Life is spared from the misma for a time at least.   In order to maintain its miasma repelling abilites crystals must be recharged with myrrh. Myrrh can only be harvested from special immovable crysraline plants dubbed 'Myrrh trees'. To collect the liquid myrrh a sacred tool known as the crystal chalice must be carried and used to gather but a single drop every three years from any given tree. Most cities need three or four drops per year to clense their crystal and protect its citizens.   This is the story of the crystal caravans and there adventures through the monster infested miasma to collect myyrh.
