Settlement of Azmarin

Founding

The first human settlers arrive in Azmarin.

The original settlers of Azmarin were a group of human adventurers from Sylanta. Led by Captain Godfrey Carter, they set sail for the eastern continent in the Peregrine. Instead they were hit by a massive storm and shipwrecked on the previously undiscovered island of Marin, where they set up a community.   Unfortunately, the Elemental Incursions were in full swing, and they barely survived the first few years. Just when they were about to lose hope, they attracted the attention of Namoros, leader of the Alenyath pod. He became their protector, and soon Azmarin was the safest place in the entire Marized Ocean. This brought merfolk and sea elves from clans across the ocean migrating to Serenity Cove for refuge, and thus was Azmarin born.
