Arcus Ocean

The surface, or Terra, was ravaged in a great war according to the legends. As a last effort to save life, Oghma, the Protector of Knowledge rose part of the earth into a place above the sky. Soon, other Gods followed suit as multiple islands were raised above. People populated these islands and began to worship the deities that rose their islands. Some of the islands were harsher than others and eventually the people began creating civilizations and their own governments.   Over thousands of years, three main powers were established: The Temperentian Empire, The Lycian Kingdom, and The Agrinad Alliance. The central force of the Islands is the Pantheon of Sagas, a church founded on Oghma. While each island and power has its own religion or worship, all pay respect to Oghma and the church.   Many wars have happened within this time, but the Islands are currently at peace. This has allowed many developments to happen resulting in airships and free travel between islands. 5 years ago, a new never-before-seen island was discovered and dubbed the Unknown Island. On this island were crystals with a strange magical power. Anyone who touched these crystals would be gifted the power the of magic while before magic was only used by those gifted of the gods. The crystal was dubbed Arcane and the Island was under Agrinad's dominion. This discovery has shaken the world a lot and may push the world into a new era of instabilitiy.
