Lycia
General Summary
A relatively temperate island. It houses the capital of the Lycian Kingdom, Crysent. Although Lycia appears to be two islands joined by one bridge, it is actually is one island split into two. During the War of Terror, a fleet of Draco Bomber annihilated Lycia's center and split the island in half. Both of these islands have now somewhat grown apart due to social standing.West Lycia
The western island of Lycia. This half is mainly populated by farms and mines, making a great place to find a job. However, it is also very poor monetarily, especially compared to East Lycia. Many people of the West think of the East as snooty pricks who sit in their ivory towers taking from the poor.East Lycia
The eastern island of Lycia. This half is populated by very wealthy and prosperous towns. Different beautiful lakes add to the island's breathtaking views. While many on East Lycia are wealthy, there is a major divide between new money and old money. Those who run the mines and farms of West Lycia are seen as 'dirty' and not actual high class. On the flip side, the old money are seen as lazy and gaudy. East Lycia is also home to Crysent, capital of the Lycian Kingdom.Races
Lycia was originally native to only humans and halflings. To this day, both still make up the majority of the residents of Lycia. In general, halflings are located in West Lycia or in the 'New Money' districts in East Lycia. Humans are found all over, but most of the 'Old Money' folks are human. However, Lycia is welcoming to all races, so many have been able to find success in Lycia.Island Deity
The island deity of Lycia is Zamos, the God of Life. Worship of Zamos is widespread across the island, seeing as the Lycian Kingdom was founded upon Zamos' prophet. the Voice of Zamos. Even though infighting between social ranks may occur often, everyone still unites under Zamos and his chosen Voice.
