20 Mile Inn
20 mile Inn is actually a chain of inns which are located every 20 miles on the wilderness trails for weary travelers to rest their road weary bones. Originally called the Three Brothers Inn, it changed to 20 mile inn when the brothers set up a second and third inn.
Established by three brothers, one runs the chain of inns, the second runs a chain of farms which supply fresh food for each inn and the third established and runs breweries and vineyards along the route.
Three brothers ale, Threbro wine and fresh food are served/sold at each inn. Overtime their surplus has grown so they now fulfill trade orders from other nearby establishments.
In the more remote areas, there's not much else around. But in some areas, others have settled nearby adding other skills and talent and starting small settlements.
After the war people were able to stake claims of land and the brothers set out to quickly claim land, hire builders and build their first inn. They had the idea for more so two of the brothers headed out and after a days travel they set up camp, staked a claim and began that process again. Once that was in process the third brother set out and did the same. Once fully established the first brother hired a manager and set out stopping to see his brothers’ progress. And continuing on to set up another inn. On occasion someone else got there first so they stayed a few days to see what the competition was like and whether it was worth their time setting up another new inn. After a few days they'd have a good idea whether there was enough business for two. Occasionally they'd take over a struggling inn and revive it. Over time one of the brothers got restless and decided he'd prefer to be outside. And frustrated with the lack of fresh food/supplies decided to try his hand at farming. After a couple years business boomed as rumours got around that fresh food was available at this inn and the brother set out to do the same at intervals close enough to service 2 or 3 inns. The third brother was inspired by his brothers success but decided that fresh drinks were needed as sometimes supply was low or the ale was akin to bog water. He added to the farms with vineyards and grain fields and established the first Three Brothers brewery. After a few exploded casks and much trial and error, he was able to launch Threbro wine and Three brothers ale. Both the wine and the ale was exclusively available at their chain of inns and after winning a local wine competition and brewery of the year word spread and people came just for the drinks. He set out to survey the lands near their inns to find ideal spots for more vineyards and breweries to be set up and continued experimenting with flavours. Often releasing limited edition drinks.
