Archon Galaxy

Before the age of mortals, there were the Titans. They roamed the worlds and walked alongside gods. All at once, their time came to an end. The gods went to sleep, and when the woke again, the Titans had ceased. They weren't destroyed, only stopped it seems. Some stopped mid-step. The gods woke one by one to find mortals already here.   Since then, major civilizations have arisen on 5 planets scattered across the stars. Mortals took hold of the worlds the Titans left behind, and made them their own. The inhabited planets are Ithamar and Raldmar, Isso, Xolqurn, and Aikhulura. Ithamar and Raldmar, the binary planets, excel at technomagical developments, with the dwarves of Raldmar being particularly adept in the field of materials science. Isso is the center of genetic engineering development. Xolqurn contains the foremost experts on geothermal energy, and Aikhuluran scientists are the best in the galaxy at balancing scientific developments with the natural world.   Massive, cosmic dragons roam through space, able to fly unhindered. Even in the vast vacuum of space, magic is present and these powerful beings take full advantage of it.   In the present, magic and technology are inseparable. The old and the new are integrated in strange and sometimes alien ways. A patchwork of history put together to form the present.
