Since a group of adventurers from The Guild of Cardinal Points seized the crown of the dreaded Umbral Lord Azithaal, Guild scholars (in collaboration with the Temple of Nemesis) have been searching for a way to break the dark magic that surrounds the crown and destroy it for good.
All research in finding a way to break this magic seems to point beyond the edge of the oceans, in the mysterious Ivory Sands.
The guild has been informed that Yra, a native of the Ivory Sands, has been seen by the ports of Arcos. He might be able to help us navigate the treacherous path to the edge of the world, and into the deserts beyond The Divide.
According to our information, he'll be hard to miss - all reports say that his appearance is quite extravagant, much like accounts of his brethren from the deserts surrounding Yr Adul. His hair and beard are coloured brightly with pigments and powders and he wears finely made gold-lined robes.

Yra, The Storyteller

During their travels in Sarylim, The Ivory Sands, a party from the Guild of Cardinal Points discovered the true identity of Yra. Meeting in Yra's mysterious disappearing shop, Yra's Odditites, a pathway through a hidden demiplane lead the group to a horde of fantastic treasures, stretching as far as the eye could see - and Yra revealed himself to be none other than the ancient Gold Dragon of Sarylian legend, Yraksthael.

For reasons unknown, Yraksthael chooses to take on the appearance of a human, travelling the world to collect stories. While in the capital of Sarylim, Yr Adul, Yra chooses to his presence whenever and how ever possible.
