Raven Merchant (a.k.a. Feathers)

The Raven Merchant is a Kenku who travelled with a weapon's merchant for many years, learning the mercantile trade, and the words required to ply it. Finally settling in Arcos The Merchant took up with the Guild of Cardinal Points as it promised him opportunity to see and possibly even acquire new and exotic weapons for his collection.
Born into a Kenku thievery tribe not dissimilar from the others scattered across the world, this Kenku's real name has been long lost to his old home. However, it was after turning 11 that the tribe was visited by a travelling merchant. He was a man of few words to be sure, but his wide assortment of wares and items caught this Kenku's attention like nothing else before. Sure as a minor thief he and his kin had stolen goods, even the odd treasure piece. But never had he seen so many different kinds of object being managed and owned by own person. After all, merchant trade was not exactly a popular profession in this forested wilderness.
Upon leaving, the merchant soon realised he was being followed. This raven-like creature was an annoyance for sure, but at least it knew to keep its distance. As long as it didn't get in the way of his trading, it wasn't worth the effort to deal with the juvenile fledgling directly. It would likely lose interest soon enough anyway.
Or so he thought. Months passed and still the figure followed, seemingly getting closer each time. So close in fact that the merchant realised the Kenku was beginning to imitate him to make deals on the side, and rather effectively at that. Having travelled alone for so long, the merchant recognised the possible benefits of a companion who could accurately mirror his techniques. It would be like having his shadow do work for him. So the two agreed to an apprenticeship of sorts, and the decreased distance led to the Kenku developing his bargaining skills further. Over the course of a few years, The Kenku even adopted the merchant's favourite speech patterns. 
However, despite the Kenku learning through expert mimicry, one difference manifested between himself and his tutor. The travelling merchant could be considered a jack of all trades, able to adapt to a wide variety of different markets and wares. Yet, although certainly versatile, this Raven creature had one fascination above all overs; weapons! Collecting, trading and modifying weapons of all kinds became the Kenku's speciality. This eventually created a divide in their trade, and with little left to learn from eachother, the two parted ways with as few words as ever. 
Now with his own business to pursue, the Kenku adopted a moniker of his own; the Raven Merchant. Unoriginal to be sure but it got the point across and fit him to a tee. Sometimes, he is referred to as either just Raven or Merchant. Some within the guild have given him the nickname "Feathers", though he has yet to decide whether he actually likes it. Having joined the Guild of Cardinal Points (his first time as part of such an organisation), Raven has taken the opportunity to establish his first permanent shop. Guild members tend to have an eye for weapons after all and with it comes opportunities to make some fine additions to his collection. Besides, weapon collectors need coin, and Feathers happens to have a selection of good things on sale stranger!
