Jejun

Jejun is a mysterious and secretive nation. It doesn't trade with other nations or interfere with their politics; outsiders on their lands are met with hostility and violence. Journeys into Jejun are considered ill-fated and dangerous, and the Jejuni government isn't shy about making clear to other nations that their citizens aren't welcome on its soil. Although not much is known about the nation, rumors from those who have returned suggest that the Jejuni people themselves are punished for speaking to outsiders, and almost none of them speak common anyway. Jejunai are a strange and austere people with little variation in their style of dress: typically they wear long, plain garments and short-cropped hair, and outsiders have noticed little variation in their culture and style between races or cities. Not much is known about the nation's government except that it is a theocracy, but the object of their worship is, too, unknown. Returning explorers describe centrally planned cities consisting of rows and rows of small houses, practically identical, and a central district where food and goods are distributed. If the Jejunai use any kind of currency, it has yet to be observed.
